Empowering Youth for Employability and Entrepreneurship
Elevate
The ELEVATE project enhances youth employability in Kenya, Uganda, Serbia, Italy and Austria by equipping young people with entrepreneurial, personal, digital, and green skills through non-formal learning. A six-partner consortium fosters EU–Sub-Saharan collaboration, adapting best practices in youth employment and entrepreneurship to local contexts.
Key activities include international training in Kenya, Uganda, and Serbia, where Youth Workers gain skills in entrepreneurship, empowerment, and personal competencies, forming the basis for training programmes applied in local multiplier events. The project develops three publications on digital employment, green skills, and youth entrepreneurship, created through knowledge-sharing workshops and used in youth training sessions. Networking and stakeholder engagement strengthen experience exchange between youth workers, trainers, and CSOs, while matchmaking events connect youth with employers, bridging employment gaps. A multi-sectoral approach ensures long-term sustainability, engaging civil society, education, and employment stakeholders. The project integrates social inclusion, environmental sustainability, digital innovation, and youth participation, ensuring an inclusive, future-oriented methodology.
